Diary of a Girly Kid: 3rd Blog Anniversary!

Cheers to my blog’s 3rd Anniversary!

Can’t believe the pace became that fast. Like hey, with that span, why I’m still stuck here with lots of backlog posts? Hahahaha! I rarely post new entries as I enjoy my life that much. Bottom line, I forget to document them. Hahaha! However, I believe that you will know that you really live in the moment when taking photographs or listing them all down isn’t part of the priority.

My 3rd year of blogging exactly coincided with my ‘multi-transition period’, I must say. I’m a teenager no more! From student, I became an intern in one of the country’s famous and biggest TV Network, got my local and international travels, experienced various adventures and yolo moments, graduated from college, and now, I’m currently an employee in the city! Yay to that! ❤

3rd Anniv

Something in my life has also changed, but I guess it’s not the right time to talk about it. Hahahaha! Well, without further ado, I just want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you guys.

Thank you for the continuous support. Thanks for all the reads, views, and comments. They encourage me more to  be persistent on writing, though it’s not part of my daily or even weekly priorities. Hahaha!

Now, as this blog turns three and counting, I’m currently prepping a lot of new entries  and also working on the backlog posts too to maintain its updates and content. Please don’t miss those and be my new friends ❤

Thank you so much guys!!

Llao llao in the Philippines!

When we traveled to Singapore last February, it left me numerous reasons wanting to go back and experience the country again. Food is of course part of those reasons and this frozen yogurt I’ve tasted is included on the list. I keep telling then that I should really go back to SG for it! Hahaha.

Llao llao which is pronounced as “yao yao” became my fave at first taste. Not only it looks good and undeniably instagram-worthy (hahaha), but the taste is something you could be proud of yourself. Why proud? Because you can customize your own! Everything is your choice—from the yogurt flavor to the toppings and syrup!

I’m glad Llao llao made its way here in the Philippines too! There are two branches now, one in Glorietta,Makati and the other is in SM Mall of Asia. I’ll try them also here when I get the chance. Yeah,it’s a bit pricey, but I’m telling you, it’s really worth it!

Here’s Sanum, the one I had back in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. I’ve ordered a Mango-flavored frozen yogurt mixed with Strawberries, Dragon fruit, and chocolates of my choice. I opted a caramel syrup over the chocolate one.

Go ahead and treat yourself too<3 Yum!

Something about August

I don’t know. I really don’t know.

Remembering it’s now August makes me so pensive and at some point, hopeful. I’m really confused, but I’m in no rush. Maybe I’m just really maturing that’s why I reflect even on the simple things.

Something bothers me. Something I know is my solace at the same time. Something more, something new, something true. Something about August.

I  travel far from home to work and vice versa which gives me more time of musing about life and every little detail of it.

Maybe. Just maybe, some good things are only meant to be experienced and dreamt about. But I’ll just let it be, to let myself grow. Sooner or later, I know I’ll have what’s store in stash for me. Maybe I just have to stay strong and positive because that’s the only resort.

The only thing I must always be sure of is that God loves his people so much and that I should never worry about anything for He’s omniscient and omnipotent.

Someday, I’m sure, I’ll find the answers on  that something about August.

Baguio City Tour & La Trinidad Visit: Day Two

It’s the second and last day of our short vacation. The weather and ambiance of Baguio made us all want to stay longer but very important errands the next day hindered us to extend out trip. Though we only had a half day spent traveling around, I believe we still made the best out of it and explored the places as much as we could. (This is our second day, if you want to read our first day, Click this 🙂 )

Mine’s View Park

Only a few blocks away from the transient house where we stayed, Mine’s View Park became our first stop for the day.

The scenic view of the mountains will surely leave you in great awe. We had myriad selfies taken there! I and my man felt instant photographers in pursuing good shots of the mountain. Hahaha!F1.2

Baguio City Tour: Day One

Hi guys! It’s been a month of hiatus since I made my last entry. *insert peace sign* Well, to make up for that, here’s the story of my (not so) recent travel in the Philippines’ summer capital, Baguio City!

Sorry if I can’t provide you fees and expenses ’cause my travel is free as a treat of my birthday girl aunt. However, I believe we had a jam-packed trip and I will tell you the places we went to, that you must totally visit. Yay to that! Or am I the only one excited? Hahaha!

We left Manila around 12:00 a.m and arrived in Baguio City almost 7:00 a.m via van with short stopovers. Obviously, it took us 7 hours en route to the country’s city of Pines. Actually with that span, we can already have a back and forth international flight in one of the neighboring countries! Hahaha!
